Dogwood Summer Youth Theater Presents “Pride and Prejudice”

Based on the novel by Jane Austen and directed again this summer by Chelsea Webb. The family’s future happiness and security is dependent on the daughters making good marriages, involving many trials and tribulations including class, gossip and scandal. August 6 and 7
Dogwood Center Community Theater Presents “Crimes of the Heart”

Directed by Michael Coon. A Pulitzer Prize winning play by Beth Henley. A dark comedy set in Mississippi, involving three sisters, love, murder and scandal. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $10 in advance, $12.50 day of show. Main Stage.

“Kitt Kittredge: An American Girl”
Kickoff the National Baby Food Festival

Satellite Empire

An original ballet choreographed by Troy Schumacher, currently of the New York City Ballet, and musical direction by Nick Jaina and Nathan Langston of Hush Records. This is a ballet with historical sweep and a story of love through war and time of crisis. It is set in an age of decadence. 7:30 p.m. Main Stage, Tickets $15. Kevin Kammeraad

Blue Lake Fine Arts Faculty Winds

The 30-piece concert band, will perform an Independence Day themed program, conducted by Kent Krive, that will include The Star Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, and works by Morton Gould, and William Schuman among others. 7:30 p.m. Main Stage. Fremont John

The Ragbirds

Ask the Ragbirds how to describe their hard-to-define Folk Rock and World fusion and they will tell you it is “infectious global groove”. Bob Milne - Ragtime Pianist

Journeyman
