Kid’s Sewing Class – Girl’s Skirt

Class Fee: $40 ($35 Member)

Ages 9 and up

Skill level: Beginner

Create your own clothing! Using Simplicity’s Learn to
Sew patterns, you will learn basic sewing skills while
completing your own skirt. Learn skills such as how to
read and follow pattern instructions, lay out pattern pieces
and cut fabric, sew elastic casings, stitch seams and
hems, and use the sewing machine and serger. Students
will have to purchase fabric and notions before the first
class. A supply list is available at the NCCA-Artsplace or
on our website. Class size is limited to 3 students. Bring a lunch.
