Fred Convertini

Fred Convertini is a luthier who lives in Fremont, MI and learned the love of music at a young age. His father taught him how to play the ukulele when he was 5 years old and he has continued to play various instruments while he was growing up. It wasn’t until after he graduated from high school that he started to play classical and flamenco guitar and has played those ever since. When he retired in 2004, he spent the fall and winter of that year in a workshop learning the craft of luthierie and built his first guitars. After learning the craft of luthierie, he continues to make mandolins, guitars and leather cases.
