Richard Brinn

Richard fell in love with painting at an early age, completing his first landscape with a paint by number, since then he’s set aside those tight constraints, studied fine arts extensively, and blossomed into a vibrant landscape painter, pushing boundaries of color, and composition.
Richard earned his BFA at Wayne State University, majoring in painting and drawing with a minor in ceramics and MA in painting. He has taught for many years for WCCC, Schoolcraft College.

Over recent years his work has evolved from using both urban and rural subject matter to solely rural and nature motifs, in addition to still life work.
