Using artist canvas students will use tape to create a a brilliant geometric design. Next they will use acrylic paint and gradation techniques to add vibrant colors.

Leaping lizards! Express yourself with paint on paper and then cut and learn to shape your fine art papers into 3D lizards.
Flex-Tangle

This fun artistic and mathematic class teaches you to be Zen while tangling ink designs into a flexigon. A flat piece of paper will be transformed by zentangle designs and geometry into a 3D masterpiece!

Using paper, painting, recycled objects and stamping tools students will create an art piece that resembles a Japanese bento box full of sushi and more.
Statue of Liberty Pop Art Painting

Using Peter Max, a pop artist from the 1970’s, as inspiration students will paint the head of the Statue of Liberty with bright acrylic paint on canvas.
Clay Musical Rattle
Tues., August 2 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Students will use clay techniques to create a rattle filled with tiny balls of clay that will make a rhythmic sound when shaken. Brightly glazed and kiln fired. Very artsy!
Clay Slab Fish

Starting with a slab of clay students will design a realistic fish complete with textural details and finish with bold glaze colors.
Textured Clay Owl

Starting with a simple pinch pot students will continue building an owl using their fingers and interesting tools to add special details.
