INSPIRE – Classes for Teens
Tuesdays/Thursdays 3:45-5:15 p.m. Ages 12-18
Class Fee $10 These classes are funded in part by a grant from
the FACF Youth Advisory Committee.

These exciting and exploratory art classes are designed
to give middle and high school students a chance to learn
about art styles and mediums they might not get in a
classroom. All materials provided.

November 5 Fimo Clay Relief Pendants
Using a variety of colors of fimo clay, texture plates and
gold, copper and silver powders students will make
stunning relief pendants.

Stunning in Silver: Leaf Ring with Cristine Grimm

Monday 6:00-9:00 p.m.

January 25

Class Fee: $85 ($80 Members)

Ages 16-Adult

Prerequisite: Stunning in Silver Class

Now that you have taken the basic class with Cristine it
is time to advance to the next step. In this class you will
use Art Clay, the clay that turns to 99.9% silver to create a
beautiful leaf ring. Keep it simple or take the time to add a
colorful cubic zirconia.

Jeweler’s Bench: Metalsmithing Pendant with Casey Bemis

Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. September 10, 17, 24

Class Fee: $85 ($80 Members) Ages 14- Adult

This is a rare opportunity to explore the art of crafting metal jewelry. Just imagine wearing a one-of-a-kind pendant made by your own hands. Students will learn to combine found objects and traditional metalsmithing techniques such as cutting, texturing and forming metal. Cold connections will be employed to make unique pieces.
