Learn to use freezer paper templates, focus on layering, fusing and creative quilt stitching too add texture and dimension to your fiber art quilt. Check for tools/supplies list. Learn the art of collage landscaping. You will amaze yourself at how easy it is to create a
simple fabric landscape of the Lake Michigan Shoreline. Prepare to have fun! These make
great gifts too!
Supplies Provided: Fabrics; light blues, dark blues, brown and tans, greens, trees. Wonder
Under (pre-applied to all fabrics), 7” x 9” backing and lining, 8” x 10” art frame, 10½” x 12½”
blue fabric to cover art frame, Parchment paper for ironing.
Need to Bring: Sewing machine (with open toe or free motion foot, and regular foot), scissors,
rotary cutter/mat and threads – suggested list upon registration.

Kick back and relax in pajama pants you made yourself.
In this easy sewing class, you will learn how to pin and
cut a pattern, read and follow pattern instructions, sew an
elastic casing, stitch a hem, use the sewing machine and
serger. Sewing machines will be provided. Students will
have to purchase fabric and notions before the first class.
Class limit of 3 students. Bring a lunch.
