DESCRIPTION:Dogwood Lobby Gallery Exhibit: Kent Twitchell \n– through August 11\nDogwood Center for Performing Arts Lobby Gallery\, 4734 S. Campus Ct.\, Fremont\, 231-924-8885\nKent Twitchell spent a lifetime making Los Angeles is his open-air gallery through his mural work. Twitchell’s signature pieces are now part of the city’s history. “He’s one of the greatest living muralists in the world\,” says Eric Bjorgum\, president of the board of directors of the Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles. His work has been collected by the Smithsonian\, the Chicago Art Institute\, the Long Beach Museum of Art\, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Kent is the brother of Gloria Helgemo.
