Clay Tile Design/Mold Making Mon., February 14, 21, 28 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Ages 16+ $90 ($80 Members) Students will use plasticine clay to develop their tile design, cast a mold in plaster, then press and glaze multiples of their fine art clay tile. Glaze firing scheduled 2 weeks after last class.
Snow Landscape - Clay Tile Thurs., January 26 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 8-18 $10 Students will design a winter scene on a rolled slab of clay. The possibilities are endless!! Tiles can be picked up after firing.
Alcohol Ink Landscapes on Tile with Barb Wagenmaker Thurs., October 12 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 16+ $60 ($55 Members) Use alcohol inks to create a colorful landscape on glazed ceramic tile, finished off with a clear protective layer. Up to 3 tiles per student and one framed 4”x4”.
Alcohol Ink Landscapes on Tile with Barb Wagenmaker Saturday, May 11 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 16-Adult $50 ($45 Members) Use boldly colorful alcohol inks to create an impressionistic landscape on glazed ceramic tile, finished off with a polycrylic protective layer. At least three tiles will be created and one will be framed.
