Papunya Dot Turtle Painting Tues., June 28 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $7 Based on the papunya dot paintings of Australia students will use paper and paint to design their own turtle pattern using dots.
Clay Turtle Box Tues., July 12 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Ages 9-12 $7 In this class students will use a variety of clay building techniques to form a turtle box with the shell as the cover then glaze with a variety of bold colors.
Clay Slab Fish Tues., August 2 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $7 Starting with a slab of clay students will design a realistic fish complete with textural details and finish with bold glaze colors.
Alligator Adventure Sat., August 20 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-5 $7 Cutting, painting, stamping, gluing - all these basic techniques will be used to make an amazing alligator.
Discovering Fireflies Saturday, June 22 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 Simple shapes and bright watercolors will be used to capture this glowing beetle. There is something magical about a firefly!
Clay Crazy Birds Saturday, July 27 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 6 - 8 $10 These crazy birds will be so much fun for our students to create using basic clay techniques.
Clay Owl Saturday, July 27 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 9 - 12 $10 Using stamping and pinch clay techniques students will form a curious owl with whimsical eyes and feathery details!
A Cow Outstanding In His Field Saturday, August 3 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4 - 5 $7 We are getting out the paints and brushes to get busy creating a friendly cow! A fun farm themed work of art!
Clay Animal Bell Tuesday, March 4 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 12 - 18 $15.00 Create a garden bell and adorn it with characteristics of your favorite animal! Use texture tools, along with slab and pinch techniques. Fired bells will be washed with an iron oxide glaze.
