Clay Spring Flower Saturday, May 25 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-6 $7 In this class students will design a spring flower with lots of color, pattern and texture! Flowers will be glazed the same day and ready to pick up after May 31.
Clay Tile Saturday, May 25 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 8-12 $10 In this class students will design a 6” square tile with lots of detail and movement. At the end of the class each student will glaze it with one selected color. Tile will be available after June 1. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
Clay Boxes with Chris Rosenberg Tuesday and Thursday, May 28 and 30 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Glazing June 11 Ages 16 - Adult $55 ($50 Members) Using slab and texture techniques, students will learn to build a clean fitting lidded box the first two days, and then return to glaze the third day of class.
Figure Drawing Tuesday, June 4, 11 and 18 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Ages 16 - Adult $45 Use charcoal, graphite and watercolor washes to study and draw the human figure. Students will work from still life figures and live models.
Alcohol Ink Landscapes on Tile with Barb Wagenmaker June 6 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 16 - Adult $50 ($45 Members) Use boldly colored alcohol inks to create an impressionistic landscape on glazed ceramic tile, finished off with a polycrylic protective layer. At least three tiles will be created and one will be framed.
