Clay Pinch Pot Saturday, February 15 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ages 4-5 $7.00 Our young artists will learn basic clay skills and vocabulary while forming a colorful pinch pot. Pieces can be picked up after the firing process.
Clay Tile ala Claude Monet Saturday, February 22 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 6-8 $12.00 In this sculpture class students will learn about the seaside work of French artist Claude Monet. Each student will form a clay tile based on his work.
Just Holding On - Clay Rabbit Bowl Saturday, March 1 & 8 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 9 - 15 $15.00 Students in this class will use clay building techniques to form a bowl with a guest rabbit just hanging on. Sculpt on day one and glaze on day two.
Clay Animal Bell Tuesday, March 4 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Ages 12 - 18 $15.00 Create a garden bell and adorn it with characteristics of your favorite animal! Use texture tools, along with slab and pinch techniques. Fired bells will be washed with an iron oxide glaze.
