Patchwork Printmaking with Cheryl Gould

Patchwork Printmaking with Cheryl Gould. A two step block print experience, with rainbow rolls to include more color variation. Participants should come prepared with an idea, sketches or reference pictures for their block. Designs or inspirations like tessellations, butterflies, leaves, birds, flowers, coffee cups, quilt blocks, anything that could be fit into a square format. Designs will be carved into a 4” by 4” block, and printed individually and grouped into 4 block by 4 block designs. Participants will also have the opportunity  to collaborate with each other on a larger print. Designs will rotate and inked in a variety of methods and colors.  Class includes all materials and use of printmaking and carving tools.
