Rita’s desire to work with clay started at a very young age with making clay dishes and food in the back yard with her siblings. The passion never left and she started her education in high school where she attended Ed Park in Grand Rapids, MI. From 1978 to 1989, she attended pottery classes at Grand Rapids Junior College.
