Enjoy a collection of woodwork from artisans and craftsmen throughout West Michigan and beyond. Coming Out of the Woodwork embraces a wide prism of what artisans can do with nature’s most stunning natural resource: wood turning, wood burning, parquetry, scroll work, joining, carving, marqueterie as applies to sculpture, furniture, bas relief as well as a wide array of other decorative and functional wood artwork.

In addition to a variety of wood artwork on display, there will be photographs about the various processes, showing specialized tools, traditions and skills involved.
