Jane Stroschin is a prominent painter, author, and illustrator based in Fremont. She is widely recognized for her acrylic paintings inspired by nature and her extensive work in children’s literature. One of her significant public works is a large mural in Fremont titled “Celebrate Our Symbols,” which features Michigan’s native wildlife and nature. Jane remains active in the local arts community, frequently leading workshops such as acrylic painting classes at the NCCA-Artsplace. As both an author and illustrator, Stroschin has published numerous titles, particularly in the children’s fiction and educational genres. This retrospective exhibit will span her career to include nature inspired, abstract and illustrative works.

These diminutive works of art create a huge space in our imaginations.
