Stained Glass Feathers

Create a stained glass feather using the foil method. This is a great introductory project to learn cutting, grinding, taping and soldering techniques.

A fun introduction to cutting, grinding, taping and soldering methods and tools. This one day workshop gets it all done start to finish! All materials and patterns provided.
4 Week Stained Glass Project
Wed. April 9 – 30 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Age 16-Adult $150 ($140 Members)
If you’ve already taken a beginner class this is your chance to develop a larger project. Up to 30 piece stained glass pattern with Zinc Edge Framing. Choose from a variety of provided patterns or get your own pattern approved ahead of first class. Weeks one and two will be cutting and grinding, week three will be taping and tacking/soldering. Week four is adding zinc edge, exploring hanging options and creating patina/waxing. All materials and provided, unless there is a unique color or texture of glass required for your pattern. Open studio times encouraged.
Glass On Glass Mosaic with Deb Medendorp
Tues. March 18 – April 8 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Ages 16 – Adult $85 ($75 Members or WIPs)
Create two trivets or one 12” x 14” framed glass on glass mosaic piece using the grouted glass on glass mosaic technique. For experienced glazers, if you have a Work In Progress, you can use this instructional time and studio equipment and glass to work on a current project!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with bling! Learn to use a pattern, cut, grind and foil glass, and finally solder and finish lead lines. Final project is roughly 5” x 5” .This is a good introductory course for those interested in learning stained glass, or join us if you just want a fun creative group to encourage productivity and refresh your skills. We’ll break for lunch between foiling and soldering.
