This fun artistic and mathematic class teaches you to be Zen while tangling ink designs into a flexigon. A flat piece of paper will be transformed by zentangle designs and geometry into a 3D masterpiece!
In this workshop you will create a labyrinth template on an 8.5” square Fabriano Tiepolo paper tile.Then
enjoy using both old and new patterns to fill your labyrinth with as many tangles as time permits. Bring
your Zentangle kit bag. Class fee includes all materials beyond Basic kit bag. Bring a lunch.

Come and learn the art of tangling from certified instructor Georgianna Klein. It is a relaxing and creative art form. As you develop several patterns you will definitely want to continue. In this class you will create a 9 inch black and white spinner to help you choose your next pattern. After the workshop, the spinner may be colored and filled in with patterns of your choice or by following the videos of Project Pack #4 from Zentangle.com. Techniques are easily adapted to create other kinds of spinners. No Zentangle experience necessary and all materials are included.

Learn to create colorful mini fairy houses using Zentangle patterns, materials, and colored pencils. Unfolded, the fairy houses can be used as greeting cards. Beginners welcome as no Zentangle or drawing experience is necessary

In this class students will be introduced to the Zentangle Method of creating ink drawings on small paper tiles

Fee: $35 ($30 Members) Ages 16-Adult
Prerequisite: Zentangle Basics.
Students will learn to add depth to their Zentangle Inspired Art by enhancing their shading skills. The class will also explore more “advanced” tangles and Zentangle’s newest technique, tranzending, which uses multiple layers of patterns and shading All materials beyond the Basics Kit Bag will be provided. Students should bring their art journal.

Prerequisite: Zentangle Basics
Using 3Zs (the new triangular tiles) and your art journal, we will explore several new, open ended ways of approaching Zentangle. Reticula and fragments will allow you to play with a structure and a seed pattern. New ways of creating patterns or modifying existing patterns that do not involve creating a stepout will open additional creative doors. Tiles will be provided, but students should bring their Basics kit bag and an art journal.
