Utilize mixed media watercolor, oil pastels, paint pens and markers. Students let the watercolor base decide the composition. Then use easy repeating patterns to create more interesting lines and textures.

Introduction to Watercolors Florals with Pat Miller
If you are just beginning or have some experience with watercolors you will learn from watercolor artist Pat Miller. Pat will give an introduction to basic floral composition and then introduce techniques such as wet into wet, wet into dry, washes, glazing, and more as they apply to painting floral designs.
