Class Fee $5 per evening Ages 16-Adult

Bring your own drawing/painting supplies. Easels, tables and drawing boards, charcoal and paper provided. Lindsay will provide suggestions, hints and feedback to anyone who asks, otherwise this is an open studio type experience drawing from a live model.

Like a good house needs a solid foundation, the strength of a painting lies not in the drawing, or the detail, but in the arrangement and execution of its values and masses. Eric will demonstrate how to take any subject and synthesize
it down to its basic value masses. Then, painting those masses accurately, simply and interestingly, we set the stage so that our main focal point has maximum impact. Materials list will be provided at registration.

These exciting and exploratory art classes are designed
to give middle and high school students a chance to learn
about art styles and mediums they might not get in a
classroom. All materials provided.

January 9 Paint & Pop Art Messenger Bag

Transform a cotton canvas messenger bag into a
fashionable self-expression! Using photo transfers and
fabric paint and some bling, participants will first apply
their own image, then adorn it with colorful details. Please
bring a digital or hard copy of whatever images you wish
to transfer onto the canvas bag. They will be scanned and
printed onto lazer-tran paper.

Prepare for the holiday season by spending an inspiring
evening with artist Jane Stroschin. She will guide you
through the process of painting on glass bulbs. Each
student should expect to complete two bulbs: a snowman
and a bird. This is a perfect decoration for your holiday
tree or as a unique gift.

students will learn acrylic painting techniques from
an expert while creating a 16” x 20 ” landscape with
barn. Jane encourages students to add their style
and interpretation to their painting. Don’t miss this
opportunity to work with an inspirational instructor.
Both experienced and beginning students will enjoy

Come and spend a delightful and creative evening with local artist Jane Stroschin. In this class students will use a combination of abstract textural and realistic acrylic painting techniques to create their own version of a birch forest on a 16” x 20” canvas. Both experienced and beginning students will enjoy this class.

Tulips bring a joyful burst of color in spring! Come capture some of that springtime joy with a painting night! Leave your perfectionist ideas behind and embrace the carefree brush strokes and playful splatters of these happy flowers. Kristi will share some of her favorite acrylic techniques that help make painting simple and fun for anyone! We will be creating multiple paintings on 8” x 10” paper as we learn and practice expressive acrylic techniques together.

April 25 Acrylic Painting

Using acrylic paints, metallic pens, gold and silver leafing, students will create a Gustav Klimt style painting featuring their favorite person, pet or pop icon.
