Like a good house needs a solid foundation, the strength of a painting lies not in the drawing, or the detail, but in the arrangement and execution of its values and masses. Eric will demonstrate how to take any subject and synthesize
it down to its basic value masses. Then, painting those masses accurately, simply and interestingly, we set the stage so that our main focal point has maximum impact. Materials list will be provided at registration.

Grimm. Using basic techniques that can be used anywhere,
anytime, without a kiln. This clay can be used to
create classy earrings or a small pendant. When fired it
turns into 99.9% pure silver. Cristine is a master instructor
who will bring all the tools and tricks necessary to create
something you’ll enjoy wearing or adding to your next
beading project. Cost includes silver clay, the use of all
necessary tools, and a necklace, ear wires or jump ring for
wearing your piece out the door.

dramatic vistas. This nature photography workshop
combines a slide presentation, question and answer
forum, with a hands on outdoor photo shoot in the
neighboring Branstrom Park Chain of Lakes area.
Students will begin the evening at NCCA-Artsplace
and then finish at Branstrom Park at sunset to capture
amazing changes in light and scenery. Bring your own
camera, chargers, batteries, cables, tripod and questions!
