Glass Mosaic Birds

Create glass mosaic birds using glass working tools, a rainbow of glass colors and mosaic glue. Two birds per registration fee. Birds will be ready to pick up on March 25.

Using slab methods, texture tools, and wash/dry brush glaze techniques, participants will create turtle from red clay!

Polymer Clay Jewelry

Use texture plates, die cutters, mica powders and polymer clay to create fun modern or boho jewelry designs!
Clay Mittens
Sat. November 22 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Ages 4-6 $7
Our little artists will use a clay slab, a cookie cutter and a texture plate to shape a pair of mittens. Glaze will be added to create their own style. Mittens will be available for pick up after they are fired. Call to Register.
Coptic Bound Clay Book!
Wed., October 15, 22, 29 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Ages 16 – Adult $55 ($50 Members)
Create a book out of stoneware clay, laying a design into it using a carved printmaking block! Day one will be designing and “printing” the clay slabs, day two will be glazing, and day 3 will be folding signatures and coptic binding your fine art book together! Based on the artwork of Alaskan artist Nakultoruq Mighell Silver Hand.
Spooky Clay Bowl

Ages 9-12 $12
Just in time for Halloween. Come and form a spooky clay bowl. It is a little bit of a pinch pot and a lot of BOO. Students will need to pick up their bowl on or after October 25.
Clay Apple Bowl
Sat. September 20 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
Ages 6-8 $12
Just in time for the apple harvest season. Come and form a sweet little clay bowl, add interesting details (worm?), glaze your piece. Pieces can be picked up after they are fired on September 30.
Clay Cat Face
Sat. October 25 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Ages 4-6 $7
Using basic clay techniques and terminology our students will form a clay cat face. Simple but sweet. The pieces may be picked up after firing on November 8.
Clay on the wheel
Wed. July 9, 16, 23, Aug. 6 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Ages 16 – Adult $100 ($95 Members)
Learn to center, open, raise walls and shape a wheel thrown form. Practice is encouraged during open studio hours in between classes. Students will glaze their work on August 6.
