These fun hand building projects introduce students to working with slab, stamp, texture and die cut techniques to create dainty flower bells that hang from wire stalks, and small bee blossoms/water dishes shaped like blossoms to place atop copper stems. Week one is for building your slab flower formations and week two is for glazing. Final projects ready to pick up the week after last class.

Create two trivets or one 12” x 14” framed glass on glass mosaic piece using the grouted glass on glass mosaic technique. For experienced glazers, if you have a Work In Progress, you can use this instructional time and studio equipment and glass to work on a current project!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with bling! Learn to use a pattern, cut, grind and foil glass, and finally solder and finish lead lines. Final project is roughly 5” x 5” .This is a good introductory course for those interested in learning stained glass, or join us if you just want a fun creative group to encourage productivity and refresh your skills. We’ll break for lunch between foiling and soldering.

This class is designed for beginner level painters who want to prepare themselves to sketch the landscape either when traveling, plein air, or to create small simple watercolors from their own photographs. We will break down the landscape composition into simple elements and learn to layer, glaze, and resist watercolor for short bursts of painting. Multiple small compositions will be in progress at once. You may bring your own photographs or inspiration to use in addition to provided resources. Students may bring any watercolor paints or brushes that they may have, or use the materials provided for the class. Watercolor paper journals are provided. We will break for lunch about 12:00.
